The Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy – Until January 2022

Following a delayed launch as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, this renowned exhibition has returned to the Royal Academy for its 253rd year!

Under the theme of ‘reclaiming magic’, the show will feature over 1,300 pieces from leading artists, household names, new and emerging talent. Whether you’re an art fanatic, studying a fashion course or are simply looking for a cultural activity to fill your afternoon, this show isn’t to be missed.

 

Hogarth and Europe at Tate Britain – Until March 2022

This much-anticipated exhibition brings together William Hogarth’s greatest works with those of his peers across the continent – including Francesco Guardi in Venice, Chardin in Paris and Cornelis Troost in Amsterdam. Head to the Tate and get lost in a maze of famous for paintings and prints that captured the changing culture of the mid-18th century and age of enlightenment.

 

Lubaina Himid at Tate Modern – Until July 2022

Head to the Tate Modern for one of this month’s top events in London November 2021. This theatrical exhibition debuts recent works and career highlights by Turner Prize-winning artist and cultural activist, Lubaina Himid. Focusing on the themes of cultural history and reclaiming identities, the exhibition unfolds in a sequence of scenes that will place you centre stage of Himid’s innovative approach to painting.
