The fashion industry is worth billions of pounds, with a wide range of exciting careers available including fashion design, merchandising, marketing and more. Whatever niche role you're applying for, the fashion industry is highly competitive – so you've got to bring your A-game to the interview.
With so many job seekers competing against each other for various roles each day, their rate of success lies in demonstrating whether or not they have the right skills for the job. While the requirements of each job vary, and specific skills and knowledge are needed, there are some attributes and skills that employers look for in almost every industry.

It all started when Endy made a New Year’s resolution to turn his hobby into his career: “I applied to LCCA in mid-December 2013 and by the end of January 2014 I was doing a HND in photography.”

As a university student or graduate it is essential to focus on your career goals, putting aside enough time to pursue them. Internships are a fantastic way to start following these goals; you will learn more about the industry and career you are interested in, while gaining that all-important experience.
