What’s on in London: September 2021 

While summer may be coming to end, that doesn’t mean the fun has to as well! Head out this month to experience some of the many events in London September 2021.  

Of course, on the forefront of everyone’s minds for this month is London fashion week September 2021, but that’s not it for events in September UK 2021. There’s also an array of exciting exhibitions, pop-ups and festivals for you to dip your toes into this month.  

 

London Fashion Week – 17 to 21 September 2021

The long-awaited London Fashion Week September 2021 is here and we can’t wait to see what’s in store! This year’s show will run as a physical-digital hybrid event and will feature over 100 designers via a series of catwalk shows, presentations, events, digital content and activations throughout London.

 

London Design Festival – 18 to 26 September 2021

This year’s design festival will celebrate some of the city’s most talented designers with a broad mix of outdoor installations, design exhibitions and hands-on workshops dotted around the capital.

Now in its 19th year, this annual event aims to promote London as the design capital of the world and while the festival may look a bit different this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, that’s no reason to miss it!

Alongside London fashion week September 2021, this is one of the top events in London September 2021.

 

The Royal Academy of Arts’ annual Summer Exhibition - 22 September 2021 to 2 January 2022

The Summer Exhibition is a celebration of contemporary art and architecture and returns this autumn to the Royal Academy of Arts. The exhibition will feature over 1,000 pieces of work with art ranging from iconic artists to emerging talent too.

Under the theme of ‘Reclaiming Magic’, highlights for the show will include work by Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Michael Armitage and Jade Montserrat, as well as self-taught artists such as Frantz Lamothe, Bärbel Lange and Marie-Rose Lortet.
