The company said it’s expanding its offer to “be closer to its customer during different moments” and has therefore started to grow its size selection.

Given that the company is part-owned by Next, which is well known for its wide size range — including a strong petite line-up — it’s perhaps no surprise. But even without that link, the general trend is for more and more retailers to adapt their core styles to multiple sizing requirements.

The new Reiss petite range features 45 styles “that best represent Reiss’s AW21 aesthetic”. The designs “encapsulate the house style” and include formal dresses, tailored jackets and coats, plus trousers. The latter takes in the key seasonal trend pieces such as its flares and wide-leg styles.
