Uwill Counselling Services for Students


Uwill Counselling Services

LCCA students have free access to secure and confidential counselling services through Uwill, a student mental health provider.

Access to Uwill is quick and easy. You can register on the Uwill site and book your first session with the licensed therapist of your choice.

  • Choose a therapist based on your personal preferences, including by gender, language, ethnicity, and/or the issue you wish to address.
  • Choose a time that fits your schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Choose your appointment type - video, phone, chat, or message.

Uwill is accessible to all students - who have an active LCCA email address. This includes students who are taking an off-term, a personal leave of absence, or a medical leave.

Registration Instructions

  • Go to https://app.uwill.com/or scan the QR code below
  • Click "I'd like to register."
  • Click "I am looking for services."
  • Follow the directions to create a profile. Be sure to use your LCCA email address to sign up.
  • When you're finished creating a profile, an email will be sent to you verifying your account.
  • Login to search for a therapist. Therapists will be shown based on your location, their availability, and the preferences you identify.
  • After looking through the therapists and deciding who you'd like to see, schedule an appointment with that provider. The first appointment will be via video or phone and will default to 30 minutes.

Please note: The Uwill telehealth platform and the counsellors working within it are not controlled or supervised by London College of Creative Arts or UCA.

Uwill also offers instructor-led wellness videos and programmes. From yoga and meditation to self-care and stress relief, Uwill wellness offers tips, tutorials, and practices to help you discover greater focus, balance, and joy. You can access Uwill wellness content on the Uwill dashboard, just scan the QR code register and you're in.

For online counselling and wellness support, you can access the Uwill platform by scanning the QR code below and completing your profile using your college email address and current location. After completing your profile, you can immediately schedule an appointment with your chosen counsellor or access wellness Frequently Asked Questions support on your dashboard. Access to Uwill is quick and easy. You can register on the Uwill site and book your first session with the licensed therapist of your choice.

Uwill counsellors have a range of specialties and have extensive experience working with students and
staff. Many individuals utilise Uwill to help with mood changes, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties,
poor body image, academic challenges, and loneliness, among many other things.
In addition, if you are facing a mental health crisis, you can get in-the-moment crisis support from one of
Uwill’s counsellors trained in crisis response by calling Uwill’s crisis connection on 0808 134 7219. (For
emergencies, please call 999).

The counsellors in the Uwill counsellor community are all fully accredited counsellors with extensive clinical experience and experience working with students and staff. Additionally, counsellors on Uwill’s crisis connection are also trained in crisis response.

Counsellors available on the Uwill platform take a solutions-oriented, holistic approach to treatment. Our counsellors aim to work collaboratively with you to help you accomplish your goals through teaching tangible skills. This means that our counsellors focus on providing specific tools, coping skills, and resources to address the issues you are facing.

Yes. For online counselling appointments, you work with your counsellor and select the format that best suits your needs. The first session must be video or phone and then you can choose the modality based on your schedule and needs.

For online counselling, you have 90 credits to use.
You also have unlimited access to Uwill’s crisis connection for crisis support as well as unlimited access to
Uwill’s wellness programmes.

You can request additional credits from your institution through your Uwill dashboard.

Yes, Uwill is compliant with GDPR and UK Data Protection Act, which means we follow the strictest privacy and data protection guidelines. We never share your data – even on anonymised basis – to any third party.

However, if you are having an emergency, you should call 999 or visit your local A&E department.

Yes, you can change your counsellor at any time.
