Delivered in partnership with University for the Creative Arts, this business top-up degree is an opportunity for you to develop the skills you need to achieve promotions or to build your own business. There will be an emphasis on the challenges faced by leaders and how complex business decisions are made on a regular basis.
Throughout the programme, you will build on your existing knowledge of business in modules including: Business Strategy, Business Research and Enterprise Sustainability. The programme will also help improve your employability whilst also providing you with new interpersonal and transferable skills.
By the time you graduate, you’ll be able to enter a number of industries from fashion to finance. Additionally, you could consider pursuing a postgraduate qualification to further enhance your skills.

This progressive BA (Hons) in Business Management (Top up) brings creative thinking and innovation to the forefront of business in the creative industries. The BA (Hons) Business Management (Top Up) is a level 6 higher education course based on the philosophy that the management development of business professionals should be incremental.
The course emphasises the requirements and challenges faced by business leaders and managers, taking into account the complex decisions that must regularly be made.
Like other top-up degree courses, this programme allows you to develop a broad understanding of business organisations and provides you with subject-specific knowledge in areas such as markets, customers, finance, operations, communication, information technology and business policy and strategy.
The course emphasises the requirements and challenges faced by business leaders and managers, taking into account the complex, dynamic and integrated nature of various factors which impinge upon management decisions.

Additionally, students who graduate from this programme can apply for exemptions from relevant professional examinations of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Students on this programme may become student members of the Institute of Management.
Once you’ve graduated from the programme, you may also like to consider further study at postgraduate level.

The course has been designed for students who meet both of the requirements (A and B) below:
A) Applicants require a minimum of an HND / FdA or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject (with some merit achieved)
B) Students whose medium of study at HND/FdA or equivalent qualification is not English are required to produce evidence of English language proficiency at IELTS: 6.5 or equivalents with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
