FURTHER STUDY

For many students, a master’s is a stepping-stone towards a career in academia and MA students could therefore consider pursuing a PhD after graduation.

Of these graduates, 60.8% were studying a PhD. A research Masters (MRes) is often seen as a precursor to PhD's, with 37.2% of MRes graduates going onto further study.
