Our aim at LCCA is to develop our students both professionally and personally but offering vocational courses which feature industry involvement and experience. We want to enhance your career prospects, ensuring you gain highly marketable skills and have the right tools to secure the right job.

We work to ensure our programmes are relevant and meet the demands of the current global market-place, whilst also encouraging you to explore your skills and passions and grow as an individual.

Therefore we work with industry experts and employers already working in the creative industries to work with to gain placements, internships, deliver visiting lectures, and share knowledge and experience.

CAREER SERVICES

In order to achieve this we work with our parent institution, LSBF, to offer our students Career Services. This service aims to assist in your development in order to prepare you for entry into employment and make full use of your talents, skills and benefit from high job satisfaction.

Career Training and Development

We offer workshops and courses which are designed to sharpen your skills so that you stand out. Some workshops we offer include interview techniques, CV writing and using social media as a platform to raise your profile. These workshops also allow you to develop individual actions plans and have one-to-one career coaching.

Networking Events

During your study we will hold employer and practitioner events where you will have the opportunity to learn and hear from success stories, interact with potential employers and develop your network connections.

These will be run throughout the year and all students will be invited to attend.

Career Advice

In the first instance we would encourage you to speak to the academic team for guidance as they have a wealth of experience of the industry and can advise on the best ways to move forward and find a job.
