LCCA Short Courses give you the chance to express your creativity in many different ways. You’ll gain creative confidence, and the skills you learn could even lead you down a career path you’ve always dreamed of following.

Whether you’re interested in finding work in a creative sector or simply looking for something fun to do in the evenings, there’s no better way to pass the time than by getting to grasps with a new creative skill, or discovering things you didn’t know about a subject you’re interested in.

Those enrolled on our Short Courses can benefit from our industry standard facilities and extensive support from our tutors, all of whom are creative professionals themselves. No academic qualifications are required for enrolment – you just need to turn up with enthusiasm, passion for your chosen subject, and a willingness to learn.

Key reasons to consider taking a short course:

  • Learn and develop new skills or follow your creative passion
  • Advance your career prospects
  • Retrain and change your career direction

Our Short Courses run in the evenings throughout the year, allowing you to fit sessions around existing personal or professional commitments. They’re generally suitable for anyone aged 16 and over.

We also offer two-week, full-time courses throughout the year. These courses give aspiring creative professionals the opportunity to further their knowledge and refine their skills, giving them a head start when they come to enter higher education or the world of work
