Hardcore Henry

Hardcore Henry is a point-of-view action film which puts the audience in the shoes of a man who’s resurrected from death, but has no memory when he wakes up.

Shot entirely in a first-person perspective, see through Henry’s eyes as he fights to save his wife, Estelle (Haley Bennett: Marley and Me, The Hole), from powerful warlord, Akan (Danila Kozlovsky: Soulless, Vampire Academy), who has kidnapped her and is holding her hostage.

In the heart of Moscow, Henry must avoid being killed in surroundings he’s unfamiliar with, as the same time as finding out the truth behind his identity.

Original, quirky and slightly dizzying, it’s unlikely that you’ve ever seen anything quite like Hardcore Henry. You can experience his journey in cinemas from April 8.

The Jungle Book

A live-action take on the Walt Disney classic, The Jungle Book introduces you to Neel Sethi, who will make his on-screen debut as orphan, Mowgli.

Raised in the jungle by a pack of wolves, a panther and a bear, Mowgli lives an unusual, yet happy, life until his safety is threatened by a terrifying tiger and he is forced to leave his jungle home behind.

Embarking on a journey to escape Shere Khan (the tiger) with Bagheera, the black panther and Baloo, the bear, he encounters some intriguing characters, who may prove to be equally as treacherous as Shere Khan, himself.

With a star studded cast, The Jungle Book is set to be a huge success. Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Idris Elba (Pacific Rim, Prometheus) and Scarlett Johansson (Lucy, The Avengers) are among the voices behind the animals, making this a live-action Disney not to be missed. The Jungle Book is in cinemas from April 15.

Collide

When a large scale robbery goes horribly wrong, Casey Stein (Nicholas Hoult: Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: Days of Future Past) finds himself on the run.

With a ruthless gang in hot pursuit, and the fearsome mob boss Hagen (Anthony Hopkins: Thor: The Dark World, The Silence of the Lambs) in charge, Casey must keep hold of everything he has taken from Hagen.

Willing to go to any lengths to retrieve what’s been taken, Hagen will stop at nothing, forcing Casey to rope in drug smuggler Geran (Ben Kingsley: Shutter Island, Schindler’s List) to protect his girlfriend.

Full of high speed car chases and adrenaline pumping action, Collide is definitely one to watch on the big screen. You can catch it in cinemas from April 20.

However, things are a little more complicated when Jericho finds himself having to face agent Pope’s widow, Jill (Gal Gadot: Furious 7, Triple 9),  forced to explain the situation.

Also starring Tommy Lee Jones (Men in Black, Natural Born Killers) and Gary Oldman (Harry Potter, The Dark Knight), Criminal hits screens April 15.
