We only have one month of summer left, so it’s time to make the most of it! This fun-filled post will show you how!

Hackney Flea Market - August 5-6

It’s back! For all the vintage lovers out there, this is a date to be marked in your calendar! However, it’s not all vintage here; artists and creative types can also be found here, flogging their wares. From jewellery, dresses, furniture to even antique books and maps, there’s a gem or two for all here - no matter what your taste.

The shopping begins at 2pm.

Visions Festival – August 5

Party away at this punk extravaganza. Seize this opportunity to impress your friends with some great new bands at the festival’s fifth event. Enjoy the DJs and the rock karaoke.

If you’re a fan of body art, there’s also a tattoo exhibition.

What’s unique about this festival is that it takes place over several locations. All you need to do is find out where your favourite bands are playing on Saturday 5th and make your way there. However, if you like the idea of a multi-location concert, all venues are within walking distance of each other.

If you decide to go to the Oval Space venue, you’ll be welcomed with the scrumptious aroma of jerk chicken.

Tickets are £35.

Frieze sculpture park – throughout August

If you’d rather be enjoying the outdoors this summer, head over to beautiful Regent's Park for a huge sculpture display. Explore 25 pieces from international galleries. Works range from the old to the contemporary.

Frieze has been running now for 12 years and offers the Frieze Sculpture Audio Tour app to provide you with plenty of background knowledge.

Shout Out Live festival - August 5

Taking place in Russell Square, this inspirational event features a variety of live podcasts. Shout Out Live’s website states that you can expect an action packed day with entertainment and talk panels.

This is London’s first podcast event and is a celebration of podcasts and the freedom they provide minority voices to be heard.

We hope summer's final month treats you well. For more great events advice, keep an eye on LCCA's events page
