We would like to invite you to the exhibition ‘Faces’, which brings seven students together for their photography HND graduation show. They will be showcasing the diversity of portraiture through their unique visual styles, concepts, and ideas. The students are:

Nicola Forrester-Prince
This project looks at the resources and influences that surround our children’s future, and their direct
contact with influential peers. The images are colourful & fun, yet focus on a key worldly topic.

Tricia Ann Butler
I see this project as a way of communicating that through dedication and commitment we can achieve
anything we want in life. That is where fulfilment and pride is earned and success begins.

Raylene Gené Liow
In this project, I have taken the role as a fashion advertising photographer and have produced a set
of images and a campaign video for American Apparel.

Anna Zurawka
My project is about the beautiful time of happiness and carefree joy we all experienced as a child. The
images document transient moments of cheerful childhood and let them last forever.

Will “Thai” Hibbert
For this series of images, I wanted to express my frustration with the constraints of commercial
fashion photography and my choice to put sexuality within my work.

Julia Winter
Projection is a series of images exploring how people respond to imagery. Initially the project started
when I employed a model to act out these ideas as I projected images on to her. I have always worked
in glamour photography and I wanted to explore this world in a fine art context.

Tamas Toth
My work aims to discuss the relationship of people and equipment in photography. Some believe
that better equipment can make them better, while others believe that it is vision and knowledge that makes photographers take better images. This project explores the idea of recreating the look and feel of a studio portrait session with entry level equipment to see if different results are obvious or not.
